Camp at the Lake (Specialty Camps)
LOCATION
YMCA Outdoor Education Center
131 Germantown Road, West Milford
These camps are held at the same location as Traditional Camp and campers travel on their regular bus. Specialty Camps are designed to provide a singular exposure to one program area and are a great way for our 10-14 year old campers to add even more variety to their summer experience. It is very important that campers have a passion and strong desire to explore this program area. All Specialty Campers receive swim lessons and partcipate in Special Event Fridays.

Session 1 of Specialty Camp = Sessions 2 and 3 of Aftercare
Session 2 of Specialty Camp = Sessions 4 and 5 of Aftercare
Session 3 of Specialty Camp = Sessions 6 and 7 of Aftercare
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
–A 10% sibling discount will be applied to the child attending the camp with the lowest tuition. If you are eligible for this discount please email us at [email protected] after you have completed the registration process.
–FRIEND REQUESTS: At the YMCA, we dedicate ourselves to youth development. Our camps help build confident, resilient, and happy campers by helping them foster new bonds throughout the summer months. In order to foster new authentic friendships and, for the safety of all children, ensure our camper-to-staff supervision ratios, we will not accept friend requests for the 2025 camp season.

Nature Navigators: Outdoor Education Camp
NATURE NAVIGATORS: Outdoor Education Camp
Has your child expressed a love or interest for nature and the outdoors? If so, Nature Navigators is the perfect camp for them!
This specialty camp is designed to offer nature lovers the full outdoor experience while teaching them basic outdor education and survival skills.

If your child loves the outdoors but prefers a day filled with playing their favorite sports and games, sports Stars is the place to be! This specialty camp is tailored for sports enhusiasts, combning the unique experience of Camp at the Lake with opportunities to sharpen athletic skills through a variety of sports and friendly competition.
