Drills in dribbling, shooting, passing, defense and teamwork are the focus of this game—and this class. All students will have the opportunity to learn or enhance these skills while staying active. Who knows, this could be the first step to becoming an NBA/WNBA star!

The fundamentals of volleyball are the focus here. This exciting sport combines team play with individual skills. Every child plays in every game while making friends and learning new techniques of the sport.

Gaga Ball is here! Your child will learn to play different varieties of Gaga Ball at Park Street’s regulation court. Gaga is a fast-paced, high-energy sport played in an octagonal pit. The more players the better! The game is played with a soft foam ball and combines the skills of dodging, striking, running, and jumping, while trying to hit opponents with a ball below the knees.

Start the little ones out early. This class will teach the basic basketball skills to our 6-9-year-old Members. It’s the same game but smaller hoops and basketballs where students learn shooting, passing, dribbling, defensive and offensive moves.

Kids will learn soccer skills, learn new drills, scrimmage each other and work on speed and agility –all while learning the importance of fair play, team work and good sportsmanship. Player’s fitness and confidence will improve while building their soccer skills.

Held indoors in the Y gym, participants will have a great time learning skill and stamina as well as coordination needed to succeed. A perfect way for youngsters to learn hand/eye coordination and stay active.
